Calgary Canadian Premier League team, Cavalry FC, suffered a devastating loss against 5th seed, York United. Though they held more than half of the possession, 0 out of 5 of their shots were on target. Oliver Minatel, a former Cavalry FC player, scored in the 35th minute and Osaze De Rosario in the 73rd minute. Cavalry had a chance to score a goal in the 86th minute, but the ball met the goalpost. Despite the loss, Cavalry’s goalkeeper, Juilian Roloff, made some highlight worthy saves.

Cavalry FC is currently last in the CPL standings, 8 points behind #1 seed, Pacific FC. They have lost 2 of their last 3 matches, and drew against Forge. They could get their first win of the season against Pacific on Sunday, May 1.
